Hannah Polk, LAPC
(she/her)
Associate Licensed Psychotherapist (PA)
Hannah is a humanistic, relational, feminist, and systemic therapist who works with late-adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples navigating trauma, OCD, chronic illness and pain, disability, neurodivergence including ADHD and autism, queer relationships, and complex family dynamics.
As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, Hannah brings a non-pathologizing lens to how identity, power, relationships, and lived experience shape emotional well-being. She understands emotional distress as something that develops in context within relationships, families, bodies, and broader social systems, and believes healing happensthrough safe, collaborative connection.
Hannah’s approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, ERP for OCD, Cognitive Processing Therapy, narrative therapy, and skills from DBT and CBT when helpful. Therapy may include working with parts of self, processing trauma, exploring relational patterns, increasing tolerance for uncertainty, or reconnecting with the body in ways that feel accessible and affirming.
Hannah’s style is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity. She strives to create a space that feels warm, human, and supportive rather than clinical or intimidating, and believes humor can be an important part of healing. Therapy with Hannah is paced, relational, and focused on building trust, self-understanding, and meaningful change without pressure or perfection.
Hannah is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University.
Hannah is currently offering psychotherapy services via telehealth for clients physically residing in the state of Pennsylvania.
She is able to accept most Highmark (BCBS) and United Healthcare plans, as well as clients opting to use VCAP funds or utilize self-pay options.
