Ryan is a therapist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After working for ten years in sexual violence prevention as an educator at Pittsburgh Action Against Rape and as a member of the Title IX department at Duquesne University, Ryan received his Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health at Duquesne University in 2025.
Ryan utilizes a relational framework that is influenced by existential approaches that helps clients make meaning of their experiences as they navigate their own unique path through life. Ryan has extensive experience working with survivors of all genders who are impacted by sexual abuse and is a certified sexual assault counselor in the state of PA. Ryan's areas of clinical interest include working with male survivors of sexual abuse, working with the LGBTQAI+ community, addressing the impact of parental abuse/neglect on adult children, exploring how masculinity impacts all genders, and anger's role in the process of conflict resolution.
Ryan practices using an anti-capitalistic framework that helps clients examine the effects of living in a society that prioritizes profit over people. This framework also helps to rationalize a client's valid responses to living in these systems that could include burnout, helplessness, and justified anger. Ryan's style focuses on unconditional empathy, collaboration, and humor. Ryan's ultimate goal is to provide an environment of safety and trust for clients to learn and grow in.
Ryan is currently offering pay-what-you-can psychotherapy services for clients physically residing in the state of Pennsylvania.
Most people pay between $50-$80 per 60 minute session.
